Abdel Sattar al-Jader

Abdel Sattar al-Jader (died 23 August 2016) was a Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) commander during the Syrian Civil War and the commander of the Jarabulus Military Council. al-Jader took part in the liberation of Manbij, and he was assassinated near Jarabulus in northern Aleppo Governorate on 23 August 2016 shortly afterwards. The Islamic State, possibly with assistance from Turkey, was suspected; after Turkey invaded Syria just a few days later, Turkey alone was suspected of his murder.
