Abdulhamid I (20 March 1725-7 April 1789) was the emperor of the Ottoman Empire from 1774 to 1789.
Biography[]
Abdulhamid I was imprisoned until 42 because of custom, and came to the throne after Mustafa III of Turkey's death. Abdulhamid's reign was spent quelling Morean and Syrian revolts, fighting Catherine the Great and Joseph II of Austria, and recuperating from the former two events.
