The Battle of Camlan(n) was a battle between the forces of Arthur of the Britons and his illegitimate son, Mordred, in medieval England.

Background

While King Arthur was on the subcontinent fighting Sir Lancelot due to his affair with Guinevere (Arthur's queen), his enemy Mordred usurped the throne, and took over England. Arthur returned to England and amassed an army of his followers, including Galahad, Tristan, Gawain, Bors, and Dagonet, and confronted him.

Battle

In the final battle, Arthur was able to reach Mordred in the carnage that occurred at Camlann, where the two armies met, and dueled him. Mortally wounded, he struck him down and died soon after, ending the Briton rule over England.
