The Battle of Ziegtow was an engagement between the Holy Roman Empire and the Swiss Confederation, which resulted in a Swiss victory.

The Swiss troops ambushed a force of German knights in a valley, throwing stones, javelins, logs, and shot arrows at the Austrians below, and they were able to inflict heavy losses. The Swiss cut down many of the Imperial troops and won yet another victory comparable to Morgarten.
