Empress Jalila of the Abbasid Empire (753-) was one of the wives of Caliph al-Mansur of the Abbasid Caliphate.
Biography[]
Jalila was born in 753 to a family of Sunni Muslim Levantines, and she married Caliph al-Mansur of the Abbasid Caliphate in 769, becoming one of his many wives.
