Cothelas

Cothelas was a king of the Getae during the 4th century BC. He ruled the lands between Thrace and the Danube River on the Black Sea; Odessos (Odessa, Ukraine) was a major city in his polity. In 341 BC, he became a vassal of King Philip II of Macedon, and his daughter Meda of Odessos became one of Philip's wives.
