Grand Senora Desert

The Grand Senora Desert is a desert located in Blaine County, California. The arid and sunny desert was located between the hilly Great Chaparral to the south and the Alamo Sea to the north, and it was full of Joshua trees, coyotes, hawks, and crows, with its natural areas becoming a part of Grand Senora National Park. Route 68 runs through the desert, and there are several stores, diners, gas stations, and places of residence located along the highway. The towns of Sandy Shores and Harmony are also located in the desert.
