Grimaldo Schiappa was a Borgia mercenary archer who was hired by Rodrigo Borgia to assassinate Ezio Auditore da Firenze as he rode to Romagna through the Apennine Mountains on Leonardo da Vinci's carriage. Schiappa fired flaming arrows, but Auditore and Da Vinci managed to escape unscathed.
