IRA bombings of 1960

The IRA bombings of 1960 were a series of terrorist attacks carried out by the Irish Republican Army (IRA) against the government of the United Kingdom in the spring of 1960. The IRA launched a series of bombings against British Army and Royal Ulster Constabulary forces in Northern Ireland during its "IRA Border Campaign" of 1956-1962, but the British government refused to devolve powers to the government of Northern Ireland.
