Florence Cathedral
Florence Cathedral, also known as Il Duomo or the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore, is the main church of Florence, Italy, built in 1296. The dome was completed in 1436 by Filippo Brunelleschi, and it is the largest brick dome in the world; it used to be the largest dome in the world. The duomo is one of the most famous sights in Florence, and its completion was a major achievement made during the Renaissance.
