Hu Zhi (?-?) was an officer of Wei and Governor of Xu Province When Wu's Zhou Fang defected, on orders from General Mai Kui, he and Man Chong headed to the Eastern Gate to reinforce Cao Xiu.
Biography[]
Hu Zhi joined Wei upon the recommendation of Shi Bao during Zhuge Dan's Rebellion. He operated under Shi Bao as a reserve soldier. When Zhong Hui planned to lure the Wu forces into a trap by using large numbers of horses and supplies as bait, this officer cooperated and led the plan to success.
