John II, Duke of Brabant
John II "the Peaceful", Duke of Brabant (27 September 1275-27 October 1312) was Duke of Brabant from 1294 to 1312, succeeding John I, Duke of Brabant and preceding John III, Duke of Brabant. He was married to Margaret of England, Duchess of Brabant.

John was born on 27 September 1275, the son of John I, Duke of Brabant and Margaret of Flanders, Duchess of Brabant; he was a member of his father's House of Reginar. He succeeded his father as Duke of Brabant in 1294 and supported a coalition to stop French expansion; he failed to conquer southern Holland from the pro-French John II, Count of Holland, and he died in Tervuren in 1312.
