Karen Maria Daniels (19 December 1981-) was an American CIA agent who was tasked with spying on Niko Bellic in 2008 while posing as his girlfriend "Michelle". By 2013, she was a lead interrogator for the organization.

Early life[]
Karen Daniels was born in the Midwestern United States in 1981, and she had criminal connections before the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) blackmailed her into working for them. Daniels would get into relationships with criminals, using false names and personalities to get close to them and discover their secrets.
Niko[]

In 2008, she was tasked with investigating Serbian criminal Niko Bellic upon his arrival in New York City, as Bellic had been involved with human trafficking in the Adriatic Sea under Ray Bulgarin. Daniels used the name "Michelle" and moved into an apartment in Brooklyn Heights, befriending Niko Bellic's cousin Roman Bellic's girlfriend Mallorie Bardas. One day, Roman Bellic sent Niko to pick up Michelle and Bardas from the Brighton Beach subway station in a cab, and Michelle was introduced to Niko by Mallorie, who suggested that they should date. They swapped numbers, and Michelle would go on several dates with Bellic, including a date that involved going bowling on Coney Island. She attempted to find out more about Bellic's past, but Bellic covered up his criminal history.
Michelle and Bellic dated until she discovered that Bellic had stolen back some cocaine of Elizabeta Torres' stash from some drug dealers on Roosevelt Island, and she led a team of law enforcement officials to confiscate the cocaine in the Bronx. Daniels revealed her true identity to Bellic, and she felt regret, as she truly had feelings for Bellic. She later apologized to Bellic for betraying him, but Bellic coldly said goodbye to her.
Humane Raid[]
By 2013, Daniels was promoted to become a CIA interrogator, based at the CIA Headquarters in Los Angeles, California. She became involved in the planning of a raid on the Humane Labs and Research complex in the San Chianski Mountain Range, assisting four hired criminals in the undergoing of the heist.
Kerimov[]
Daniels was also involved in the interrogation of suspected terrorist Ferdinand Kerimov, but Kerimov was rescued from the CIA on the orders of the rival FBI agency, and Daniels narrowly escaped the shootout at the CIA headquarters.
