Martin Foote
Martin Foote (died May 1721) was a captain of the Royal Navy who commanded the frigate HMS Dove in the Caribbean Sea during the Golden Age of Piracy. In May 1721, his ship was attacked off Jamaica by the pirate Edward Kenway and the crew of the Jackdaw, and he was killed by swivel gun fire.
