Miyatsune Roto
(1535-1567) was a Japanese samurai and a retainer of Ujiyasu Hojo who held a fief in Sagami Province, earned due to his services in battle. In 1567, he was responsible for the death of Takeda retainer Rejiyoto Kobasha in the Siege of Odawara Castle, cutting him down from his horse. However, Roto was mortally wounded by a stray arrow intended to kill Ujiyasu, causing him to die of his wounds days later.
