Nicolas Mendoza (died July 1715) was a captain in the Spanish Army during the 1710s. Mendoza was stationed in Havana, Cuba, and he oversaw the execution of captured pirates and the defense of the city from any threats. In July 1715, Edward Kenway tailed him and killed him so that he could steal the key to the castillo fort lockup and retrieve his belongings.
