Nomoto Tameki
Nomoto Tameki (29 August 1894-19 December 1987) was a Rear Admiral of the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II.


Nomoto Tameki was born in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan on 29 August 1894, and he graduated from the 44th class of the Imperial Japanese Navy Academy and from the 27th class of the Naval College. Tameki became the captain of the carrier Zuikaku on 5 June 1942 during World War II, and he served until 20 June 1943; his tenure saw the Zuikaku fight in the Solomon Islands campaign of the war. Kikuchi Tomozo replaced him as captain in December 1943, and Tameki died in 1987.
