The Popular National Union (ZLN) was a conservative political party that existed in Poland from 1919 to 1928. The party gathered right-wing politicians with conservative and nationalist views, and the party was prominent in its criticism of Josef Pilsudski during the Polish-Soviet War. The party supported nationalism, Polish unity, the elimination of class divisions, recognizing Germany as the main threat to Poland, restraining eastward expansion, supporting a private-capitalist economy, supporting workers' insurance and land reform, continuing Polish national traditions, maintaining the Catholic Church's significant position in Polish politics, and reducing the powers of the president in favor of a stronger parliament. After the 1926 May Coup, the ZLN suffered from internal schisms and morphed into the National Party of Poland in 1928.
