Prusias

Prusias (374 BC-335 BC) was an Illyrian nobleman, son of King Glaukias, who was the Governor of the Illyrian capital of Epidamnus. Prusias led its defense against the armies of Macedon, led by Alexander the Great, whose troops assaulted the city without need for siege equipment. Prusias was cut down by the enemy Hypaspists, who proved themselves better than the armor-less barbarians of Illyria.
