Reaper ship
Reaper was the flagship of the English pirate Dawg Brown during the late 17th century. Brown was known for his cruelty, killing a crew member when he complained about food; he claimed that the ship needed less mouths, not more food. In 1668, the crew of the Reaper succeeded in finding the treasure of Cutthroat Island, but the ship engaged in a battle with Morgan Adams - Brown's nephew - and her ship, the Morning Star. In the ensuing battle, the Reaper was sunk by heavy cannon fire, killing Brown, Governor of Jamaica Patrick Ainslee, the chronicler John Reed, and the majority of the crew.
