Tristan Borlase
Tristan Borlase (1686-) was an English pirate who captained the frigate Guadalupe in the Caribbean Sea during the Golden Age of Piracy.


Tristan Borlase was born in Cornwall, England in 1686, and he served in the Royal Navy during the War of the Spanish Succession before becoming a Caribbean pirate. Borlase joined the crew of Edward Kenway's ship Jackdaw, and he served with him for years. In September 1719, he was given command of the captured Spanish Navy vessel Guadalupe, commanding it as a part of Kenway's fleet. He named his good friend Lewis Rablin as his quartermaster.
