The Union for the Republic (UNIR) is a conservative political party in Togo, founded in 2012 by Faure Gnassingbe. The party replaced the Rally of the Togolese People party, which had been founded by Faure's father Gnassingbe Eyadema, and the party won 62/91 parliament seats in 2013; Gnassingbe won the 2015 election with 58.8% of the vote.
