William Rescorla
William Rescorla (1689 - September 1719) was a British Royal Navy officer who commanded the naval fort of Fort Charlotte in northwestern Jamaica during the Golden Age of Piracy. Fort Charlotte protected Jamaica from both pirates and the Spanish Navy, but the fort was breached by pirates led by Edward Kenway in 1719. Rescorla was confronted by Kenway in the war room, where Kenway killed him with his hidden blades.
